How to Put Music on an SD Card So Your Phone Actually Sees It

Should the SD card be formatted as FAT32 or exFAT?

Format a music SD card as exFAT if the card is larger than 32 GB, and FAT32 if it is 32 GB or smaller. Does SD card speed class matter for playing music?
