Music FM respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our service.

1. Information We Collect

We do not require registration to use Music FM. We assign each browser a random, anonymous identifier and record non-personal usage information such as your approximate country, device type, search queries, and downloads. This identifier is not linked to your real-world identity.

2. Cookies

We store one cookie containing the anonymous identifier described above, so that your notification preferences work across visits. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time.

3. Notifications and Email

Notifications are entirely optional and off by default. If you choose to enable them, we store only what that channel requires: a browser push subscription, an email address, or a Telegram chat ID. Email addresses are only added after you confirm them via a link we send you, and every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can turn any channel off at any time, and we delete the associated record when you do.

4. Third-Party Services

We do not sell or share your information for advertising. To deliver notifications you have asked for, we pass the necessary data to the relevant provider: your browser vendor's push service (such as Google or Mozilla), our email provider Resend, or Telegram. Search results come from publicly available sources such as YouTube and SoundCloud.

5. Data Retention

Usage events are automatically deleted after 180 days. Subscription records are kept until you unsubscribe.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no internet transmission is completely secure.
